The Dynamo Adjustment Clip Replacement is designed for users of the Cyclone Cane and Swing Cane who need to replace the height adjustment mechanism near the base of the cane.

Replaceable parts like the adjustment clip, handgrip pad, Cyclone Tip, or Swing Foot may experience normal wear over time. Replacing these parts as needed helps maintain stability and performance.

This pack includes two adjustment clips for easy replacement. Always follow the instructions provided in your kit for proper installation.

For safety, test before use and replace as normal wear and tear occurs to ensure a secure height adjustment.

Adjustment Clip FAQ

What is the Dynamo Adjustment Clip, and what does it do?

The Dynamo Adjustment Clip is a locking mechanism that secures the cane at the desired height setting. It prevents the cane from collapsing or slipping during use and ensures a safe, stable walking experience.

Which Dynamo canes use the Adjustment Clip?

The Adjustment Clip is only used in:

  • Cyclone Cane
  • Swing Cane

The GoStick and PrimeStick do not use an adjustment clip, as they have different height adjustment mechanisms.

How do I adjust the height of my Cyclone Cane using the Adjustment Clip?

Release the Lower Clip

  • Use both thumbs to disengage the adjustment clip from the cane shaft.
  • The clip will move slightly, and you will hear a click.
  • The Red Caution Indicator will become visible, showing that the clip is disengaged.

Find Your Preferred Height

  • Stand naturally and place your palm on the handgrip with your fingers wrapped around it.
  • Your elbow should be slightly bent (15-30 degrees) when holding the grip.

Align & Secure the Clip

  • Extend or retract the base tube of the cane until it reaches the floor at your preferred height.
  • Align the lower clip with the adjustment hole that best matches your preferred height.
  • Use the adjustment line indicators on the cane shaft to help position it correctly.

Important: Never use the cane if the clip is disengaged, damaged, missing, or if the Red Caution Indicator is visible. If damaged, contact customer service or purchase a replacement clip at dynamome.com.

Re-Engage the Clip & Verify

  • Press the Adjustment Clip fully into place until you hear a click.
  • The Red Caution Indicator should no longer be visible, and the clip should be flush with the cane shaft.
  • Test the placement by pressing down on the handgrip firmly. If the height shifts, repeat steps 1-4 until the clip is properly engaged.

How do I replace the Adjustment Clip?

Over time, the Adjustment Clip may wear out and need replacement. Follow these steps:

  1. Remove the old clip completely, ensuring that all pieces, including the peg, are removed from the adjustment holes.
  2. Align the new adjustment clip with the cane shaft.
  3. Repeat steps 1-4 from the adjustment process to install and properly engage your new clip.

For the best results, only use genuine Dynamo Adjustment Clip replacements, available at dynamome.com.

What should I do if my Adjustment Clip is loose or broken?

  • Check for cracks or damage. If broken, replace it immediately.
  • Ensure the clip is fully locked in place. You should not see the Red Caution Indicator when it is engaged.
  • Contact Dynamo support at questions@dynamome.com if you need assistance.

Where can I buy a replacement Adjustment Clip?

Replacement Adjustment Clips are available at dynamome.com. Using genuine Dynamo clips ensures a proper fit and safe height adjustment.

Clip question.

Can the clips be made of something more durable, so that breakage is less likely. I almost fell, when mine suddenly broke and my cane position.

wrong clip

The clip that I bought does not accompany the cane that I have. I don't know if I have an older model cane , but the clip I was sent looks like it has an option for screws or insert. what ever the clip i got does not fit. So now the cane adjustment length is sliding up and down
