How do I adjust my cane to my height?
Great question! Canes should be fitted at the break in your wrist (where your wrist bends) when standing up straight.
To find the best height for your GoStick Cane, Cyclone Cane, Swing Cane (or even PrimeStick if you're using it at cane height), follow these instructions:
- Stand up straight with your arms relaxed at your sides.
- Determine which side you need to use the cane. If you have a bad RIGHT hip or knee, you will want to use the cane in your LEFT hand (the opposite side of your "bad" side). If you don't have a "bad" side, choose your dominant hand.
- With your arms relaxed at your sides, bend your wrist (in the same side you will use your cane in) and take note of the height.
- Align your cane to the height where your wrist breaks, using the height adjustment pegs. When correctly aligned, you should have a slight bend in your elbow when gripping the handgrip.
- This is a forward-facing cane (not your typical grip, but your wrists and hands will thank us later!). Make sure the handgrip is facing away from you.

Why is the grip so wide & faces forward?
Dynamo Canes feature a wide, forward-facing grip for comfort, stability, and better posture. What are the height restrictions for each device?
Dynamo Canes are designed to fit a wide range of users based on arm length, not just height. Instead of traditional height restrictions, the cane should be adjusted so the handle aligns with the break in your wrist when standing up straight with your arms relaxed. This ensures proper posture, comfort, and stability while using the cane. While all bodies are different, most users between 5'3" and 6'1" find an ideal fit with Dynamo Canes. For the best support, adjust the cane using the height pegs and ensure you have a slight bend in your elbow when gripping the handle.
Are there any weight restrictions for each device?
- GoStick Cane – Supports up to 300 lbs
- PrimeStick – Supports up to 125 lbs
- Cyclone Cane – Supports up to 300 lbs
- Swing Cane – Supports up to 325 lb
How Long/Short are each of the devices?
GoStick Cane – Adjustable from 31" to 36"
PrimeStick – Adjustable from 31" to 55" (can also be used as a trekking pole)
Cyclone Cane – Adjustable from 31" to 36"
Swing Cane – Adjustable from 31" to 36"
Can I use the Cyclone Tip on another cane?
Yes. The Cyclone Tip can be used on other Dynamo Devices such as the Dynamo PrimeStick, the Dynamo GoStick Folding Cane, and the Dynamo Cyclone Cane; it can also be used on other canes that have a standard diameter of ¾".
The Dynamo Cyclone Tip fits standard 3/4" canes only. Whether it's a foldable or standard design cane our tip easily fits most sizes. Remove the old tip and insert the base into the top and push/twist until it is fully inserted. Test Before Use.

I have an issue with my order, what do I do?

Can I use the Swing Foot (kit) on another cane?
No. The Swing Foot is designed for use on the Dynamo Swing Cane ONLY! It cannot be interchanged for any other devices. The Swing Foot replacement kit can be purchased on our website here.
What is your return policy?
At Dynamo, we want you to be 100% satisfied with our medical mobility aids products. If you receive a damaged or faulty item please let us know right away at questions@dynamome.com.
If you would like to make a return, we accept returns on all unopened, unused devices within 30 days of purchase. To start your return process on your unopened device, you make access the return portal here.
What is the warranty on the canes?
While each device's warranty varies slightly, all of our Dynamo Devices come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the aluminium frame of each device.
The warranty does not extend to non-durable or wearable components such as plastic accessories or synthetic rubber parts, which are subject to normal wear, tear and replacement. Non-Durable Parts* are warranted for 30-days of purchase.
Non-Durable Parts include the Cyclone Tip (p/n 1361), the Handgrip Pad (p/n 1131), the Adjustment Clip (p/n 1260), and the Top Cap (p/n 1155), the GoStick Wrist Strap (1590a), the PrimeStick Wrist Strap (not replaceable), the PrimeStick EVA Foam Wrapping, the internal elastic cord on GoStick, and the Swing Foot Tip (p/n 1408-).

Do you sell any replaceable parts for the canes?
Yes. We currently sell the following replacement parts for Dynamo Devices.

What if the cane is too short or too tall?
Dynamo Canes are adjustable, but if you find the fit isn’t right, we currently do not offer extensions for our canes. For safety reasons, we do not recommend altering or modifying the cane in any way. If the cane is unopened and unused, we accept returns within 30 days of purchase. To ensure the best fit, adjust the cane so the handle aligns with the break in your wrist when standing upright with your arms relaxed.
Can I try before I buy?
Sadly not. Please note: we do not accept opened or used device returns within 30 days of purchase from dynamome.com.

Are the canes waterproof? Can I take them in the shower?
Our devices are waterproof and able to be used in wet environments such as the shower, pool decks and beaches. To keep your device in good shape, always rinse off seawater or chlorinated pool water and towel dry with a soft cloth.
