Lisa's Story: A Walking Miracle
In the face of adversity, there are those whose resilience shines brightest, illuminating the darkest of paths with unwavering determination. Meet Lisa, a beacon of strength whose journey embodies the very essence of triumph over tragedy. From the depths of a harrowing accident that threatened to steal her mobility (and her life), she emerged, defying the odds and embracing a tenacious spirit that refused to yield. With each step forward, she not only reclaimed the ability to walk but also embodied the indomitable human spirit, inspiring all who witnessed her unwavering courage. Through the trials uncertainty, Lisa remained steadfast, buoyed by the unwavering support of her loving husband Bob, her family and a dedicated team of doctors. Their unwavering belief in her, alongside her own resilience, propelled her forward, showcasing the transformative power of love, perseverance, and collaborative care. Today, as she stands tall, her story serves as a beacon of hope, reminding us all that within every setback lies the potential for a remarkable comeback.

“This is Lisa, she’s a medical miracle and rewriting the book on survival and recovery expectations! November 10, 2018 Lisa suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm and was in cardiac arrest. She was airlifted to UPenn/Penn Medicine in Philadelphia with only a 10% chance to live for only 24 hours.
Many surgeries, 3 aneurysm repairs, a stroke and 147 days in the hospital, Lisa returned home where she was said to never walk or talk again.After nearly 5 years of hard work (Don’t ever tell Lisa that she can’t do something), with a private trainer and at Penn Medicine’s Neuroscience Institute, Lisa regained speech and got back on her feet, enough to the point where she could choose a walk aid for independent movement.
She tried many kinds of canes, crutches and walkers. Her overwhelming choice was the PrimeStick by Dynamo! Today Lisa is walking completely on her own power, excelling every day, and enjoys the confidence she has by using her PrimeStick!”
